Permission Denied Can’t Empty Trash :Solution

Open Terminal :-

1)Graphical way :

Code:
gksudo nautilus ~/.local/share/Trash

2) Direct Way :

Code:
sudo rm -rf ~/.local/share/Trash/*

WARNING: THE COMMAND USED IN THE SECOND EXAMPLE IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS IF USED INCORRECTLY!!

    I am running Hardy 8.10. and have some items in my Trash that I cannot delete by any method so far. The ~/.local/share/Trash is empty, and there are no other (visible or hidden) trash folders that I can find, but these item still show up in the Trash. Where else could they be?
